Oarsome Ladies Row the Atlantic
Donation protected
We are now three ladies in our 50s and 60s that have entered the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge for charity, due to start 12/12/17. This is the world's toughest row, more people will climb Everest this year than have ever rowed the Atlantic.
We will be setting records as no other female trio has done this! We will be rowing continuously for about 65 days., starting in La Gomera and finishing in Antigua. We will face sleep deprivation, salt sores on our hands and butts, sea sickness, sharks, hallucinations, 40' waves, storms. It will be the toughest thing we have ever done.
We have to be self sufficient. The boat is 7 metres long
The BBC have already filmed us and will be following our journey throughout our preparation and the challenge. The whole event receives international media coverage. We will be on 'Inside Out' on the BBC soon.
Our charities are: Relapsing Polychondritis, Motor Neurone disease, Cancer Macmillan, Alzheimer's.
Our website is: www.atlanticladies.co
Many thanks for supporting us and sharing it with as many people as you know.
We want to inspire people to follow their dreams regardless of age and abilities.
It would mean the world to us to Raise as much money for our charities as possible. This challenge is huge.
thank you so very very much for any amount you can pledge.
