Oakland Tech Educator in need!

Donation protected
Hello Oakland Tech Community,

I wanted to share some sad news with you all.  One of our staff members, Kwame Stamp, who has been a Instructional Aide in our Special Education Department (Resource Program) for the last 6 years (he has also been the staff member that has opened the library for students in the morning as well and has worked in OUSD since 1995), has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer.  Kwame is a fighter and is battling it as best he can (he had a nice reputation of being a fighter when we were younger too!).  He has been hospitalized twice for extended periods of time since the Veterans Day weekend as there are times that he has to have fluid removed from his lungs.  He is currently receiving oxygen treatments and trying to keep his spirits high as he goes through immunotherapy in the ultimate battle for his life and the ability to come back to work.
Plain and simple he needs our support.  Your donation will provide: food aide, housing aide, aide for light medical costs (most of his medical is covered thankfully), morale support, and prep for any pending arrangements that  may need to be made.  Respectfully and prayerfully.
