Team Kalee

Kalee is a 22 year old Senior at Roanoke College and has recently been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.   After visiting the doctor multiple times over a six-month period for a recurring cough and shortness of breath, she was repeatedly diagnosed with bronchitis.  Symptoms still didn't subside, so she decided to self-refer to a specialist.  After a same-day X-Ray, doctors discovered a large mass compressing nearly her entire right lung.  After a week of X-Rays, various scans, and a biopsy, she was initially diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL). However, after further tests her results finally came back conclusive and she has been officially diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma.  She is now on the road to recovery having already completed two rounds of chemotherapy.  Kalee is a strong, courageous young woman who lights up every room she walks into.
