Deaf & hard or hearing family camp

Please help us go to 16th Annual Ca. Hands and Voices Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Family Camp, in Julian on Memorial Day weekend. Kylie went to the ENT on Aug.12, 2014 and we found out that she has severe sensorineural hearing loss. We went to the Hearing specialist on Oct. 27, 2014 to get her mold impression done for hearing aids. Her Big Day was Nov. 26, 2014. Kylie got her pink hearing aids. Since having her magic ears, she has heard the rain on the roof, jets flying over on a hike, frogs, and just the normal everyday sounds we hear (along with finding out her little brother is quite the talker). There have been some ups and some downs. She is very tired when school gets out, and she dosen't like people asking about her hearing aids. Kylie is the only kid at her school who wears hearing aids, and no one in our close group of friends has them. This camp will help Kylie feel just like any other kid. It will also help Zack and I learn from other's experiences and discuss issues related to raising a child who is HoH(Hard of Hearing).
