NYO&W 105 Restoration

Who wants to Help us Fire Up our NYO&W 44 tonner 105? The Ontario & Western Railway Historical Society is currently seeking donations to help fund the Restoration of the original NYO&W railroad 44 tonner locomotive #105 to operating condition. Our long tern goal to restore the engine to operational condition is 20,000 dollars.  The money will be used to purchase items for the project such as Batteries, lube oil and fuel, T&G flooring for the cab, filters, and new paint, but most of all we need at least 6,000!!! up front to have one of the prime movers radiator rebuilt so we can get the locomotive at least up and running with 1 prime mover.  Work on the locomotive has at the moment has come to a stand still until we can raise these funds to be able to continue our project on seeing our little engine come to life for all to enjoy! The longer we let the locomotive sit in her present state exposed to freezing temperatures the more it can potentially do harm to engine gaskets and components costing us more time and much more money and labor!! We appreciate as much help as we can get and hopefully by this Spring we will have met our goal and can continue to work on the Locomotive and have her up and running by Summer.
