Nymeria's Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
This evening Nymeria was diagnosed with Pyometra, an acute infection of the uterus. She was given pain medication and fluids, however, the vet informed us that an emergency hysterectomy needs to be performed within the next 48 hours or she will likely go septic and die. The emergency clinic quoted us $3500 for the emergency surgery but said she will be stable for the night if we wanted to get into our regular vet clinic, where the surgery will be less expensive. After spending all of our money on the diagnosis/medications at the emergency clinic we are left in the awful position of not being able to afford this life-saving procedure.
If yall know us personally, you know how much Nymeria means to us. She literally goes with us EVERYWHERE we go (her nickname is Princess). She is the best helper with our kitty family and needs to get better ASAP so she can report back in for her regularly scheduled snuggle sessions.
We set our goal for $1000.00 because we are going to try to get in with our normal vet first thing in the morning. If our funds raised exceeds our needed amount, the remainder will be donated to the ATX Cat Punks United emergency medical fund. I will be fully transparent and upload any invoices/receipts of services/donations.
Please help us save our sweet lady.
Thank you so much!
