Northwest Rankin Thespian Troupe #5727
The Northwest Rankin Thespian Troupe #5727 is raising funds to help defray the cost of registration and travel expenses for the International Thespian Festival (ThesFest) in Lincoln, Nebraska. This week long, fully immersive theatre experience is a chance of a life-time for these students. For one week in June, the University of Nebraska, Lincoln is taken over by 5000+ theatre lovers from all over the world. Theatre professionals, university programs, high school teachers, and students gather to share their love of this incredible art. ThesFest features workshops presented by theatre professionals, individual and group performances, programs for technical theatre students, and opportunities to audition for college admission and scholarship. Students will also participate in leadership workshops, tech challenges, as well as scholarship and college auditions. This is an incredible honor and opportunity for these students. This year, 17 students from Northwest Rankin Troupe #5727 have been invited to participate in the International Individual Events Showcase. This is a record number for our troupe!
We will travel with 20 students. Each student is personally responsible for $1150 for festival registration and travel. Every donation helps to reduce that cost.
