Mauro Youth Ballet of Puerto Rico

Donation protected
Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico and the people of the island still face a very long and difficult recovery, with many currently living without power or running water. Despite those tremendous challenges, the Mauro Youth Ballet Company has kept its doors open, even opening up classes to all dancers of all levels on the island. With only generators and candles to light the way, the dancers continue to share their gifts and dance from the heart, performing at shelters across the island.

Many of the school's instructors and students lost everything in the hurricane, and teachers are not currently being paid. Still, they remain committed to the healing power of their art, and the studio is a place of solace and beauty in the midst of the storm recovery.

Please consider making a donation of any amount to help these talented, dedicated artists, and to help the school and the dance community of Puerto Rico. They have given so much to Brighton School of Ballet with their performances in our annual production of The Nutcracker, and we now hope to return that gift in this time of need.

No donation is too small- every dollar helps!
