Quienes somos?
Ñukanchik Llakta Wawakuna es un grupo donde usamos el arte del baile para educarnos en diferente ramas, fortalecer nuestra identidad y sobre todo buscamos la excelencia en la primera generación de la familia Andina migrantes. No solo nos enfocamos en las niñas pero también educamos a los padres sobre sus derechos como inmigrante y ser orgullos de ser campesinos o indígenas. Creemos en la importancia de preservar nuestra identidad cultural y lo hacemos enseñando a nuestros ninos este bello arte como puente para aprender sobre la historia de nuestros abuelos, tener mayor conocimiento sobre sus lenguajes, romper barreras del doble moral, cultivar el amor propio hacia uno mismo y ser informados de lo que ocurre para crear justicia social.
El barrio esta de fiesta para celebrar 4 añnos de liderazgo y nada mejor que en el patio de la vecina! Evento gratuito y abierto para todxs!

Who we are?
Ñukanchik Llakta Wawakuna is a group where we use the art of dance to educate ourselves in different branches, strengthen our identity especially in the first generation of Andean migrant family. We focus on not only girls but also educate parents about their rights as an immigrant and be proud to be peasants or indigenous. We believe in the importance of preserving our cultural identity and use this beautiful art as a bridge to learn about the history of our ancestors, have greater knowledge of their languages, break barriers of double standards, cultivate self-love and be informed of the situations around us to create social justice.
The community is celebrating 4 years of leadership, and nowhere better than in the neighbor's backyard! This is a free event and open to all ages. We are fundraising in order to keep going forward with our mission.
