Billy Constable's Family Fund

Billy Constable is a well loved and respected musician in Western NC and beyond, and is synonymous with bluegrass music. A quick google search will show his many accomplishments throughout his life.
In 2011 a benign tumor was found on his brain and he was operated on to remove that tumor. In October 2014, during a follow up, Billy was found to have another tumor in the same area, this time malignant, and was subsequently operated on to remove as much of the tumor as the doctors could. What Billy has is called a gliosarcoma.
During this surgery he suffered a stroke, which left him partially paralyzed on his left side and affected his vision substantially. During the last 5 months he has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Though still undergoing chemotherapy, he will return home from the hospital  where he has been for the last 5 months.
His mother Lois is his sole caretaker and because of Billy's loss of income and the ongoing care he will need at home, his friends have started this gofundme page to help with their financial needs.

UPDATE:3/11/15
Billy is still at the Asheville medical facility undergoing another round of chemo this week. The family had been hoping to take him home last week, but alas. The plan is to move him, possibly next week, (fingers crossed) to a facility closer to Spruce Pine for a short time and thereafter home. He would like nothing better than to be home.
