Gift of Hearing - Mission to Yamasa
Donation protected
My name is Shannon and I have been in the hearing industry for 3 1/2 years now. I love this line of work and helping so many people on a daily basis. Hearing is such a forgotten sense that people don’t think about until they have to. We try our best to encourage yearly hearing checks the same as you would check your eyes. There are so many out there that do not have this option and are in desperate need of testing as well as hearing devices to assist them in their everyday lives. This trip is important to me because we are taking that to the ones that truly need it. I look so forward to helping those less fortunate hear better and live a more enjoyable life. Everyone should be able to hear and I love that we get to be a part of that journey for so many in Yamasa with this trip!
My goal of $2,500 will help get me there to help over 100 people with the Gift of Hearing
with $2,865 ( additional $365) we will also be able to feed a needy family with food for a year.
with $3,490 ($625 more) we will purchase and bring a humanitarian medical kit from HPIC . Supplying basic and essential medicines for the region.
with $4,490 (additional $1,000) we will help to pay for a team of local doctors to visit, aid and treat 7 neighbouring regions (Batey’s and Barrio’s) with Canadian medicine.
