Jamie's NuEyes (new eyes glasses)

Donation protected
"I want to be able to see my children, their faces, their expressions, etc." Jaime is a young woman with Choroidal neovascular membranes in both eyes. CNVM caused new blood vessels to grow beneath her retina's, leak fluid, and cause extreme vision loss. Her children are 10 months and 4 years of age.

With the NuEyes  augmented reality glasses, her vision is 20/20! NuEyes is a military grade, removable visual prosthetic.

"I want to be able to see my children, their faces, their expressions, etc.  I want to be able to read books to them.  I want to be able to see my 4 year old perform in a school program.  People don't realize that you can have low vision even with glasses and they don't understand how debilitating, frustrating and isolating it can be.  I want to be able to do things I used to, things most people can. I would love to feel independent again!"-Jamie

The technology is available today for Jamie to achieve her goals! Decide to help now so Jamie can enjoy what so many of us take for granted, our eyes!

Below is a sample of Jamie's detailed artwork created before the onset of her vision loss. She hopes to paint again soon!

Below, Jamie is playing hide-and-seek with her son, this time for fun!
