We are the friends and family of the Sorensons, raising money for medical bills, lost wages with time off work, funeral costs, and trying to support this wonderful family in a tangible way.
We all feel helpless watching this story unfold, and contributing to this fund would be incredibly appreciated by the Sorensons and those that love them.
Kellan was a spunky, hilarious, 'sassy-pants' little boy who has been on this earth a mere three-and-a-half years. He is loved deeply by those who have been blessed enough to know him and we are all devastated by the past few days of events.
On Wednesday, December 16th, Kellan was his usual self without any signs of what was to come. On Thursday, December 17th, Kellan began to spike a fever of 103 degrees, he began to vomit, and have seizures. His parents, Brad and Becky, took Kellan to Children's Hospital where they began to test Kellan and give him the best care possible. They officially diagnosed him with bacterial meningitis, and Kellan's condition rapidly declined. In a matter of 24 hours, life has forever changed for everyone in Kellan's family.
On Saturday, December 19th, Kellan passed away as this very rare, very aggressive infection was too much to overcome. Brad and Becky need our support and our love, and they want everyone to hold their kids a little closer right now. Suffering the most unimaginable loss right before Christmas time, they need us to all rally and show them how much this family is loved.
The Sorensons will have massive medical bills and funeral costs to address at a time when money seems so trivial.
It would mean so much to us all if you donated to the Sorensons. Grief cannot be relieved but if we can alleviate financial expenses, it will take a small load off Brad and Becky's shoulders.
