My dream to play for Ireland

I’m raising money for a powerchair for wheelchair football as I want to play internationally for the Irish team but can’t with my current chair, this chair would make such a difference for me during matches and training and would definitely improve my overall game. I have always been very interested in football but it was hard to keep up with everyone because of my condition duchenne muscular dystrophy. A year ago when I was 16 I had an injury which put me in a wheelchair permanently. I thought I’d never be able to play football again until I found DCUs wheelchair football team. There a great team and have helped me improve greatly and it’s been a great outlet for me to not have to worry about my condition and just have fun and improve myself every training session and match. We have a European competition in Geneva next summer and this chair would mean I wouldn’t be at a disadvantage against the other players and my team would have a real chance of doing well in the tournament and if I can play well in the tournament I might be able to get a call up to the Irish team and that would be a really great achievement for me and id be overjoyed.
