When is RAPE okay?

My name is Ari. I'm from Melbourne, Australia, and I'm starting out on a project where Im trying to raise awareness on different issues faced in our society.
My team and I are currently running a campaign on rape in light of what has recently happened in Melbourne and other parts of the world.

My first video asks people to question themselves on "When is RAPE okay?" and outlines the struggle we face as women just because of our gender.

We then followed up with a second video and carried out a social experiment. This was to see how willing people are in raising their voice as oppose to taking action to help bring about change.

Our goal is to help teach people that discussing rape with children from a younger age and teaching them that it is never okay, no matter what the circumstance, would help contribute towards its prevention.
Rape is the discussion no one likes to have, but is the discussion that is so vital in every household.
Preventing a situation is always better than trying to fix it once it has happened.

We understand that this is a sensitive issue and we understand that rape is something which affects both sexes. However, as mentioned above, in light of the rape and murder of Eurydice Dixon and the objectification of women around the world, we thought - enough is enough and we need to do something to show the world that it is never okay.

This journey has been a very emotionally filled one and has touched many people out there, both men and women.
We want to thank everyone who has reached out to us and shared their story. And we hope that each one of you has taken a lesson from this.

In light of our efforts to make a difference, this GoFundMe page was made to raise funds for non for profit organisations such as 'Reach Out' and 'Rape and Domestic Violence Services Australia' which help and support victims of rape and sexual assault.
