I’m in tears as I write this. The community I’ve met online has done nothing but assist me, love me, and support me for two years now. You have helped me in ways that are absolutely inconceivable; which makes me feel so guilty for asking help once again.
My name is Bree, and I’m 22. I stream TTRPG’s with some of the most amazing people, and I’m on the cusp of losing the ability to do so. As I type this, my bedroom is filling up with water, and my ceiling is threatening to cave in. The apartment complex so far is doing nothing about this. I can’t afford to get out.
My boyfriends dialysis, surgery, and other medical bills are beginning to pile. My hours, as well as his, at work have been affected due to the amount of time we both must spend at doctors, clinics, and the hospital. I can’t afford to see a doctor for my BiPolar Disorder, I can’t afford new glasses, and I currently am developing pneumonia that I cannot afford to get antibiotics for. I need to take my cats to the vet, and I just can’t.
I’m reaching the point where I am looking into selling all of my streaming equipment to just afford things like medicine. I’m scared, guys. I don’t want to ask you for help again, but I also don’t think I’m going to survive this without your help. I know the amount I’m requesting is steep, but I hope you understand that I am not asking for any more than I desperately need.
