Help a family who lost everything
December 10th at 10pm, Paul got a phone call from the Fire Marshall stating that their house was on fire. A fire that destroyed their home and killed their two dogs. Paul, Mary and their 3 daughters - Kayla, Megan and Harley were getting into the holiday spirit by spending the day in New York. You can only imagine how the trip home seemed like the longest drive home of their lives. Once arriving home, they realized the fire was so substantial that they lost everything. The most devastating part is coming to grips that their two dogs were victims to the fire.
We often take for granted the things we have and more importantly the things we are unable to replace. This family has been through many hardships. Please help this deserving family get back on their feet!!! Every donation will be greatly appreciated!!
To all of our Family, Friends, Neighbors, Acqauintances, Friends of Friends and good hearted Strangers. We are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of your kindness, generosity, love, prayers and support, that words connot express the amount of gratitude and appreciation we feel for all the support you have provided. I apologise for not addressing this sooner as this is the first opportunity I have had to have access to a computer and log into my e-mail and Facebook accounts. It has been a tough couple of days since coming home Saturday night, two days shy of the Nineteenth Anniversary of when we first moved in, to find our windows broken, doors missing and personal belongings, furniture, family photos and all that we fill our homes with, blackened, smoldering and strew about, all the while on our long drive home, knowing that the the two bright eyed loving campanions that had become ingrained members of our family would not be there wagging their tails with happy welcoming barks of asurance that the family was once again whole.
We want you all to know, that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done and continue to do. God Bless you All, your families and friends, inluding those fury ones that somehow find a way to fill spaces in your heart, that you didn't even know were there. Keep them close and hug them often, let them know that you love and care for them. God Bless you Coala and Ted, I am so sorry that you could not accompany us on this trip and that we weren't there to save you. You will always be with us, where ever we may go.
Thank you all for your generosity, kind words, support, thoughts and prayers. It hurts my heart to think about what they are feeling and going through at a time when they should be celebrating the holidays. Please continue sharing, this site, it is still trending and we'd like to keep it going! The money raised here thus far is incredible and will go a long way to help them, and they are such a deserving family. In response to the donations below, again, thank you. It is very generous and thoughtful of you. For now they are dealing with insurance and are unsure where they will be staying so they do not yet have a place to put anything. We will keep your offers in mind once we know more.
