This is my sister Mindy, her fiance Jason, and their 3 beautiful kids Landon, Violet, and Lilly. They both always knew they wanted a family. Jason met Mindy and they each knew they'd found their soulmate. They started their lives together and never looked back. Jason worked hard to provide for his family, and Mindy took care of everything else, volunteering in PTO, managing cub scouts, and all the daily tasks a mother takes care of. They had high hopes, and big dreams for their future together. Now everything has changed.
On April 19, Jason was admitted to the hospital with acute pancreatitis. His condition rapidly deteriorated. Within a day, he went into septic shock and multi system organ failure. He was put on life support. All we could do was hope and pray he would improve. Tragically he did not. On Easter Sunday, God called Jason home.
Jason was a wonderful father, fiance, son, brother, and friend. He worked hard, and was a member of the local Steamfitters union #449. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He was funny, kind, and loved his family above everything.
Jason was the sole provider for his fiance and his children. He didn't plan on tragedy striking. Unfortunately, there is nothing in place to pay for his family's everyday expenses. Mindy is now left to support their 3 kids alone, until she is able to develop a plan for the extended future.
We are raising money to help with taking care of his children, and a portion of his final expenses.
Our hearts are broken, but we'd like to help Mindy and the kids through the worst time in their lives. We know Jason would want his kids provided for.
