"Not Just A Meal"

The Verde Valley Senior Center provides an essential service…good, hot, nutritious meals to the home-bound elderly and elegant dining in a congregate setting. We are more than just a meal!
-we serve more than 60,000 lunches each year
-we serve Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Cornville, Lake Montezuma, Rimrock, Middle Verde, Camp Verde, Verde Lakes & all the Verde Village areas.

A portion of the meals are funded by Federal & State dollars, however this does not begin to cover the cost of this life saving program. We raise most of our funding through fundraising activities or programs like the ones listed below;
-Sponsor a Senior Monthly
-Planned Giving
-Leave a Legacy
-General Donations

We offer more than "just a meal". We offer human interaction, dignity as well as a balanced meal. Our goal is to make sure no senior goes hungry, whether they join us here at the center for our M-F in house dining or we deliver to their front door we want to make sure each and every Senior receives a wholesome, nutrient rich, hot meal. This organization thrives mostly through generous hearts and caring minds. We are so grateful for every dollar and every minute of time donated by our many volunteers because without all of you we would not be able to provide this life sustaining program. Most of all what we want for you to take away from all of this is that you always remember, we are so much more than "just a meal".
