The Norway Baseball Association is a non-profit organization founded in August of 2015. Our members and volunteers work to improve the ballpark in the small community of Norway, which we proudly refer to as the "Baseball Capital of Iowa."
Making our historic ball diamond a destination for players, teams and fans is the mission of the Norway Baseball Association.
Due to the hard work of the association, the generous contributions of several businesses and individuals, many improvements have been made to the ballpark. In the last year a new storage building was constructed. Currently the concession stand is being updated with new bathrooms, concession stand area and covered picnic area.
Our next big project is to replace all the existing field lighting. The poles and lights that we are currently using are the originals. To ensure the safety of the players we must replace the lights and poles. As you can imagine this large project comes with large costs. We are hoping to raise $20,000. We have also been presented a challenge by an amazing donor, they will donate $20,000 if we are able to get $20,000 to match! Any donation size small or large will help. We hope to see you at the ballpark in the future, if you don't live close but want to keep up to date on all that is happening go to Facebook and like Norway Baseball Association.
