Hello all! My name is Scott Norris and I am a husband, father of a 19 month old, and a photographer. With my art, my goal is to take what I feel and what I see, the mood and emotion, and capture that with my camera. And along with that, share a lot about me and my own strengths and frailties.
For as long as I've been taking photos (and that is quite a long time), I've had a dream of seeing my work in a gallery. Not just one print here and there, but a substantial show. There is something about standing in front of a print, a piece of art, that you just can't get on a small computer screen. Well, I have an opportunity to have that dream met with a show in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin at the Seippel Homestead & Center For the Arts. They would like 8 pieces for a multi-artist show starting August 30th, 2015 called Cityscapes. Wow! Awesome! Now what?!?
Well, I need to get the photos printed and as a family we just don't have the funds. sigh. But that is where you come in.
What I am humbly asking you for is help reaching my monetary goal and my almost life-long dream of seeing my works on the wall of a gallery. Each and every donor will get a personal email (heck, perhaps a phone call!) from me, and who knows, perhaps a special little thank you gift! Those that give $100+ and $250+ will get signed prints and more!
