Norah kicks cancer's ass 1 co-pay at a time!

Norah found a lump during a self exam. We have always been encouraged to do self exams because of our Nana’s history. Sure enough, Norah found one. She followed all the steps and found out she has Stage 2B, HER2 positive Breast Cancer with 2 positive lymph nodes. Thank goodness she found it herself, because that type moves quickly. So, following all the doctor suggestions she had a double mastectomy that would be followed by chemo therapy and radiation, and a hysterectomy. As I’m sure it is with everyone who battles cancer, nothing  has seemed to go too smoothly.  Unexpected infections caused by the effect of the chemo have already caused two unexpected week long hospital stays and delays in future chemo treatments,  and there are so many more chemo treatments still to be done.   Not only  are there days and weeks away from Mason, Lincoln, and Scott that no go fund me page can help her get back, but it has racked up so many unexpected bills and expenses. After much soul-searching, Norah has decided to allow me to go ahead with a go fund me page. She specifically has said that she wants to ask for no more than is needed to meet the deductible and cover unexpected medical related expenses. She has chosen that any funds not used to meet her needs will be donated to Gilda's Club of Louisville, who help support families of people battling cancer,  and the Fillies, A local group of breast cancer survivors and fighters who support each other and cancer causes. Norah wants to thanks all those who have already supported her with donations, gift cards, meals, prayers, thoughts and support.
