During my stay in Bali this year I’ve met a very special guy, always front in row to help anyone in need; actually the way we met.
Due to a terrible accident in traffic he suffered a major fracture in his lower leg. Unfortunately the driver who caused the accident fled the scene and left him for dead. No one decided to stop and give any medical treatment, but luckily he found his way back home where he can contact his relatives
His american girlfriend called the (changgu medical) they decided he had to go to the hospital in kuta (bimc) they told him the following story
To get him back on his feet and be able to work again (or even tie his own shoes), he needs surgery at the cost of 110.000.000 roepia, the equivalent of about €8000,-
Because Ryan or his girlfriend didn’t have the money they take him to sanglah in Denpasar more expensive cost’s because the American girlfriend (bule) foreigner.
they finally sent him to a traditional healer because there is no money close to getting surgery. And the long recover time with more medical cost’s
I am searching for medical specialists on Java to see if we can find a “cheaper” solution but it seems to be the case he just needs to raise the full amount for surgery.
I am calling out for help. A small donation or gesture, or if you have any idea on how to help this guy if you ever had the same situation, would be much much appreciated!
