The Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center ("PRC") is a community center in Corning, NY for families with children ages 0-5. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, families with little ones in our community always have a “home away from home” at the PRC.
Please support our mission by donating towards now during our 2018 Annual Appeal!
Your gift helps strengthen hundreds of families each year: newcomers making friends at our drop-in center, a new parent seeking support during our parent education classes, or a family spending time together during private PRC hours as part of our Nurturing Connections Supervised Visitation Program.
With your help, every family with young children in our community has a place where they can go to feel welcomed and encouraged. At the PRC, they can enjoy age-appropriate toys and art supplies, educational workshops and classes, and a cheerful gathering space for adults and kids.
In 2017 community support helped us:
* welcome families for over 8930 visits – and 2018 is even busier!
* provide private supervised visitation for 44 families
* offer over 140 workshops and classes
* waive the entrance fee for 466 families in need
2018 has been a great year, with increased attendance and new parent-centered programming like “Juice and Paint,” a parent and child art class, and “Lunchtime Travels,” the brown bag lunch and travel film discussion event.
Please help us continue our mission with a gift today. Your support helps us provide high quality programming for little or no cost to every family we serve. All proceeds benefit the PRC and go towards our annual operating costs.
