Medical Fund for Noel Torres

Donation protected
Greetings All,

Mr. Torres never gave up on life after losing both legs several years ago. Mr. Torres was planning on celebrating his 60th birthday on December 14th, instead, he will be on bed rest for the next couple of weeks.

Mr. Torres was viciously attacked, beaten and robbed on December 3rd, 2016. Mr. Torres is a double amputee and wheelchair bound and was not able to defend himself from being attacked. Mr. Torres was dragged out of his wheelchair and was beaten and struck in the head several times with a metal object
until blood flowed down his face.

Mr. Torres was hospitalized for a few  days due to the injuries he sustained from being attacked, which resulted in  Mr. Torres getting all his hair shaved off  to get several stitches on the back and side of his head and his right eyebrow. Mr. Torres finger was also broken during the attack.

Mr. Torres is on a fixed income social security disability and it's not very much. Mr. Torres needs support and we are asking for your help with any amount you can donate and prayers. Mr. Torres has been a client at Read All About It Literacy Center for  one year. Mr. Torres does not have any family in Michigan and he is currently being cared for in a safe environment.

Your generous donations will be used directly to pay for medication, medical equipment, physical therapy treatments, and any other medical expenses and other necessities that may occur.

Thank you for all of your prayers, love and support.

Sincerely,
Barbara Connor- Support Advocate
