Drew & Dan stand with Standing Rock
Donation protected
Please help us buy & deliver items of immediate need requested by those on the ground at Standing Rock.
On December 3-6, we're travelling to the Sacred Stone Camp on Standing Rock Sioux territory, where thousands of peaceful demonstrators led by our Native brothers & sisters have gathered in opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL).
In an effort to raise awareness, lend a hand, and stand in solidarity with #NoDAPL, we will be flying into Bismarck, North Dakota, renting a large vehicle, filling it with as much supplies as we can, and driving it straight into camp in aid of all those currently putting their lives on the line to stop DAPL.
We're paying our own way there and back, meaning all travel costs will come out of our pockets. That being said, how much supplies we're able to buy once we get there is up to you:
100% of all contributions you make between now and December 1 will go directly to purchasing items requested by our contact persons on the ground at Standing Rock.
These items are meant to help fulfill immediate needs for their safety, wellbeing, and survival as winter sets in and temperatures continue to fall below freezing.
We've outlined a sample list of what we'll be buying below, depending on how much of our goal we're able to raise, along with links to videos & more info about #NoDAPL.
If you're able to contribute, please list your name & a short message for us to include in a letter of solidarity (outlined below) that we will deliver by hand to our Native brothers & sisters at the Sacred Stone camp.
If you're not able to contribute, please help us by learning as much as you can about #NoDAPL, and sharing this post along with the info listed below.
Thank you so for your contributions, and for spreading the word by sharing this fundraiser.
Water is Life,
-Drew & Dan
P.S. Feel free to follow along on our journey, as we plan to keep everyone as updated as possible via our facebook pages (Drew & Dan ), plus Dan's twitter & instagram.
