Noah's Medical & Travel Expenses

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Devin and I am Noah Barnett's God mother. I am starting this fundraiser in hopes of raising enough funds for his & his family's upcoming trip to Philadelphia & any treatments needed in order to get my little buddy better. As of today Noah has still not been officially diagnosed, but all the doctors say they have never seen anything like it. Below is Noah's story as told by his mother.

In October of 2016 we noticed that Noah had developed a brown spot in the iris of his left eye. It became apparent shortly after that it was bothering him. He was seen at an eye doctor who immediately referred us to Emory. There, it was discovered that it the spot was actually a tumor and it was growing. He was started on steroids to try and shrink the mass until we knew for sure what it was. The steroids seemed to help, at first,  and did take away some of the pain that he constantly seemed to stay in. It wasn't long before they stopped working and the tumor grew even more.
Our sweet guy has been put to sleep 4 times since then. He has undergone 3 cell biopsies from the tumor and 1 bone marrow aspiration (which came back negative for leukemia, praise God) in the hopes of getting a diagnosis. We were told that Dr. Shields of Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia has reviewed his case and her concerns are that it may be Retinoblastoma: An eye cancer that begins in the back of the eye (retina), most commonly in children.
Unfortunately, his insurance is not accepted there as it is out of state and we cannot cover the out of pocket expense as it is well over what we've saved.
This doctor is the best of the best, people have traveled from all over the world to see her and she is the best chance we have to get our little boy taken care of.
We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers and ask that you continue to think of us. We're just trying to do any and everything we can to get our son better.

As you can see Noah has been through quite a lot these past few months and will endure quite a bit more. From what we understand the doctor in Philadeplphia will want to do their own biopsy as well before Dr. Sheilds can diagnose him. They will be leaving this Sunday for Philadelphia (6/24) and they will do they surgery on Wednesday (6/28). We know God has this and we are leaving it in his hands!  Thank you for your time! We hope that you can help support our little guy on his journey and greatly appreciate anything you can give! God bless!
