California FIRE, Carr Fire, ALL LOST!!

 NO ONE KNEW ABOUT THE EVACUATION! My sister Misty who lives on East Keswick Rd. was woke up by a phone call from our uncle around 6:30 am. He had heard about the evacuation in Keswick and was concerned for our 81 year old Grandpa (Pops) who does not drive. My Parents moved in to my Dads childhood home to help care for Pops in 2012, but were currently out of town for the week. Misty tried to call Pops but the phones were down so she immediately called emergency services to let them know Pops was still there and that we could not get a hold of him. The normal 15 min drive took Misty, her boyfriend Dan and his Mom almost an hour and a half as they were stopped at 2 checkpoints. The first at Keswick Dam where after some persistence they were escorted to the second checkpoint at Iron Mountain road. This time she was escorted by a police officer and the escort vehicle to the last house on the end of a 2 mile dead end road. They got Pops and the 4 dogs, but could not find the cats. Pops had enough time to grab 2 sweatpants and 2 v neck undershirts before two Police officers came in the house and told them they had to LEAVE NOW!!! Luckily, my Dad kept a spare key to my Moms Blazer in his truck! Which Misty found in the glove box as they were leaving!  They made it back to Misty's house where they were evacuated again, later that evening, to Palo Cedro, Ca. As they were evacuating my sisters house the Family home or "The Ranch"(as us kids call it)  was burning to the ground. The fire had jumped the river and barreled down Middle Creek Rd. demolishing everything in it path. They lost everything, all important documents, family photos, clothes, the travel trailer that they could have used for a shelter, even our Grandma's Ashes. EVERYTHING!! The property has been in the family for almost 100 years. It is very sad to see it reduced to dust. My parents, Kenny and Sindy are there for everyone all the time.. If anyone needs anything they come to their rescue..It doesn't matter if they know them or not. I had a friend that was being evicted and couldn't move her travel trailer. I live a state away and couldn't help so I called them up. Kenny and Sindy didn't ask for gas money, even though I know they could have used it, they said, when and where does she need us! They always Pay it Forward!  I created this this Go Fund Me for them because so many people have asked how they can help them rebuild. Any money raised will go towards providing them with all the things they will need to replace, from furniture on down to toothpaste.    Thank you for taking the time to read this.
