This beautiful, young families world was forever changed on November 4, 2015 with the sudden, tragic death of their father Frankie, in a motorcycle accident in Bethesda, Maryland.
Frankie was on his way to work at the NIH when his motorcycle collided with a commuter bus less than a block from his work.
Frankie was a devoted loving father, adored husband and much loved son and friend. He was just working hard to support his family, continue his training with nursing school when this terrible twist of fate took him from the loving arms of his family.
Frankie had a huge heart, lived life to the fullest and was an accomplished, standout state champion lacrosse goalie for the Nashua High Panthers.
I have known Frankie and his family for 25 years since he was on my husband's youth lacrosse team in New Hampshire and have loved every minute of knowing the Plati family. They are the first to help, dedicated to hard work and family, and wrap everyone they know in their huge hugs, laughter and love for life.
Now it is our turn to give back to the people who have done so much for their community, friends and family.
Brandie will need all the prayers, love and financial help that we can give her to help her through these dark days.
