Vanessa Ortiz

This is Vanessa and her youngest daughter Sofia.
She is going through a divorce and cannot afford an attorney to represent her. Her ex is trying to get full custody of their daughter.  He also is laying claim to her only possession, her car, which she owned before they met.  She and her then 12 year old daughter moved from California to Louisiana with him and their young daughter Sofia in 2016. Soon thereafter she and her oldest daughter began suffering verbal, mental and sometimes physical abuse from her spouse. Her oldest daughter suffered from severe depression and went to live with her father and Vanessa and Sofia stuck it out. She separated from him a couple of months ago and has been caring for Sofia with the help from her in laws. The ex has not helped her in any way. Vanessa is in school to became a nurse so she has no income. She is living with her in laws and has no money for legal fees or support for their daughter. Please help so she can get on her feet and at least defend herself legally against the guy.
