Nkabom World Music Festival Ghana

The first annual Nkabom world music festival will take place this July 21-23 2017 in Okurase village Ghana.
We want this Festival to be the first of many annual festivals that offer an opportunity for the people of Ghana to experience extroaordinary, diverse musical traditions from around the world by creating a platform for the master musicians and dancers of the region and abroad to perform in a large, safe setting.
We want the children of the village to have their horizons expanded - to see what is possible as they study and build their skills in the music resource center, and we want the festival to be a generator of economic opportunity and support for the artisans and business people of okrase village.
All funds will go directly to the building and support of the festival, with any additional funds going directly to the further construction and instrument purchases of the Okurase-Nkabom Music Resource Center.
