NJFOP 218-Officer in Distress Fund

Our brothers and sisters in law enforcement put their lives on the line everyday that they come to work. We face incredible challenges on a daily basis and are committed to making our community a better place. Now one of our own and his family are facing a fight for survival. Officer Tony Forney, his wife and three children are going through a struggle of epic proportions brought on by a significant illness. Tony’s spouse, Ronni has been fighting a variety of medical conditions for some time which has culminated in leaving her unable to work. This tragic turn of events has made Tony the sole income recipient in the family and has created finanical despair for his household. That said, we need to band together to support our colleague and fellow officer ensuring his family that in these tough times they are not alone. In short, as a Lodge it is incumbent upon us to do what we can to help Tony, his wife and his three young children get through this period of turmoil.
