Nico's Kenyan volunteering with African adventures

I am heading out to Kenya in April for 10 days to help out on construction work of a deprived school and help teach young children sports and life skills, but to also learn valuable lessons for myself to hopefully share with as many as people as possible and raise awareness of what life is like in Kenya. I was offered this amazing opportunity by NCS which was a 4 week programme I participated in throughout the summer, where one of the key aspects was raising money for charities through organising our own events. It has been a life long dream to visit somewhere which lives a different life to myself and I want to fully understand the other side to life that not many get the opportunity to experience and through this experience I want to open up as many eyes to understand how fortunate we are and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
