Helping Me Help Haiti

As many of you may know I am involved in a large Humanitarian effort in Haiti.
On November 4th I will head down to Haiti with 3 of my Project Runway Alumni to both show a collection at Haiti Fashion week to help promote economic development and bring more jobs to these poor people of Haiti. We will also visit multiple orphanges as well as the displaced individuals currently residing on the Haiti/Dominican Republic border.
We currently have goods being sponsored from many different companies. They are donating food, clothing, toys, and toiletries. It appears like we will be able to bring an entire tractor trailer full of products to the people at the border. The only problem we are running into is getting some of these donations to Haiti as well as the border
I am trying to raise a $1500.00 so we are able to transport all of these goods to haiti with us when we go there on November 4th.
We will take these goods either by extra baggage space on the airplane or ship boxes via DHL to a secure location. The boxes will be full of supplies, soccer balls, dolls, and clothing.
We're just trying to bring a smile to a childs face that doesn't usually have many things to smile about.
