How we made 3000 peoples day & you can too!
As seen on ITV, BBC news and Good Morning Britain...
In July 2018 we launched a non for profit initiative to bring local businesses together to show their appreciation for the staff of the NHS and to celebrate 70 years of care.
The idea would be that the businesses would pledge to purchase a bespoke sharing hamper (£70 each) which would then be sent to our local hospital, Broomfield in Chelmsford.
Within 2 weeks we had reached our 70 target and on the 6th August we made a special delivery to the hospital where the 70 hampers were distributed amongst the wards and offices for the staff to enjoy.
Over 3000 unsung heroes were overwhelmed with the generosity and appreciation shown by our local business community, it was a truly humbling day.
We have now had requests to replicate this to other hospitals around the country. We now aim to bring a little ray of sunshine to a total of 70 hospitals potentially reaching over 200,000 NHS staff.
We will continue to ask local businesses in the area of the hospital we are campaigning for to come together, but at the same time we'd like to offer individuals the opportunity to show their appreciation too. Individuals can contribute from as little as £1.
When we hit our fundraising target we will send 70 hampers from individuals and businesses that have kindly contributed. We will also include your name/message in the box too.
All of our lives have been or will be touched in some way by the NHS, they see things on a daily basis that most of us will not see or want to see in a lifetime, so lets rally together and show these unsung heroes how much they mean to us.
This particular campaign is for the staff at Alder Hey and an extra special delivery too as it will be the 5th Hospital on Noah Wall's list that he made a wish to deliver to. Just before Christmas he joined us at Great Ormond St, which was his 4th delivery.
So please help us make this a reality and lets lift the mood of the country by spreading some kindness.
