In 2013, Anna spent 3 months working in Fimpulu, a small village in northern Zambia. Fimpulu is a small farming community made up of about 5,000 people.
Zambia became one of her favorite places and she always planned on going back once she finished her degree. After she met Benji, she was determined to show him the place she loves so dearly.
In January we will be traveling to Fimpulu Zambia to work with the organization Choshen Farm. Choshen Farm was started and is run by Jeremy and Bethany Colvin. Bethany and Anna grew up going to the same church. The mission of Choshen Farm is "to impact rural Zambia for Christ through encouragement, community development, and the strengthening of the local church."

Benji will be working on the farm helping to expand the use of the walking tractor amongst area farmers. He hopes to help with the efficiency and farm principles on Choshen Farm itself and be able to help get all of the different aspects of the farm working smoothly to improve output. He also hopes to help manage piece workers and work alongside regular workers for encouragement and discipleship sake.
Anna hopes to help to establish a working nutrition outreach program and to work at the newly built mother's shelter to receive waiting to deliver moms. She hopes to also help with any other public health needs!
So why are we raising funds? Between traveling across the world and trying to help Choshen farm and the people of fimpulu is not cheap! All the money raised goes towards the projects we work on, travel expenses, and life inside this village.
We are so excited to love and help, as well as learn from the people in this small community. We'd love to have you partner with us and our work there. Thanks for praying for us and for all your support and love.
