Help us get to Boston

Malcolm was born with Gastroschisis. This condition in Malcolm's case meant he was born without a bellybutton, and his intestine was on the outside of his body. He had multiple abdominal surgery's, he lost segments of his intestine in two separate situations. Malcolm had to be fed through tube feedings and a Broviac line until he was two. The struggle we faced was a daily life/death endeavor. I was told from the beginning he would probably be a still born, then later that he may not walk or talk, that was 15 years ago. Malcolm has proved all that to be false, and with every hurdle amazes the medical professionals.
THIS TIME HE HAS STUMPED THE MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS! Malcolm has been bleeding internally for well over a year! He has been up and down the highway getting check ups and exams and tests. All of them inconclusive, all of them leaving us without answers. At this point he is not only at a crucial Iron level, but also deficient in Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D. He has a difficult time making it through the day, walking stairs has become a challenge. His energy level has bottomed out and he has a hard time just making it through the day to day activities. He attempts to hang out with friends at the rec. center on good days but is drained when he gets home. Malcolm's health has rapidly declined in the past couple weeks. We are very concerned of the strain on his internal organs.
We finally were able to get a referral to Bostons Children's Hospital-short bowel clinic.
We are headed to Boston 6-21-2018. We have some concerns of the financial impact at this time. I have been unable to work as much as I need to due to my own health issues and all of the Dr. Apts. His dad just got a summer job, and completed his first semester in College. I hate more than most things, having to ask for help. We are already experiencing a bit of hard-ship and haven't even started the running to Boston.
Malcolm absolutely has to go to Boston! His life actually depends on it! We will absolutely make it happen no matter how this all plays out, just hopeful to not loose everything making it happen!
We appreciate any and all help given and we know everyone has struggle....Please know if there was another way to make this all happen we would have done it first....
