Dear AHEPA family, Brothers and Sisters,
Those of you who know brother Wynn Storton, know he is AHEPA. Wynn has held multiple positions from Chapter 528 Scholarship Chairman, AHEPA National Webmaster, Chapter 528 President, to District 20 Governor, to Region 8 Supreme Governor. Wynn was also selected as AHEPA Governor of the year, in both 2015 & 2016. However, his proudest accomplishments are from co-chairing the AHEPA Veterans Affairs & AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors Programs. Recently, his tireless work has come to a halt.
Wynn has been diagnosed with Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma, a very aggressive but highly treatable cancer. Wynn is battling cancer for a second time having beat Colon Cancer in 2011. Wynn has an underlying immune deficiency called CVID, that makes him 70% more susceptible to contracting cancer. It also makes the fight more challenging to win. Please, pray for Wynn.
Wynn is a important member of my AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors Program. I believe all of us friends and relatives can collectively raise $15,000 to sponsor a Service Dog that would benefit a veteran fighting PTSD...and we can name the dog "Wynn!" I know this will lift his spirits and give him strength in this fight.
