A special note to our current customers, your continued patronage and support is more than enough. Of course we will welcome any additional help either financially or by sharing this link, but we want to offer a special thank you for helping to support our family and our farm.
For those of you who don't know us, here we are. We are a young couple who met in Ecuador, fell in love, started a family, and decided to follow our dream of living close to the land. From starting off as a commercial chicken farm our land and lives have evolved emmensly.
We have started reforesting our farm with native Andean trees; began planting a food forest; started our own small business; raising animals consciously, humanely, and sustainably; and have hosted more than a hundred young travelers who have come to our farm to learn how and what we do. In exchange for their help, we pass along our knowledge of permaculture and farm life, we give them a place to stay and a place at our table.
Our family is growing, and so is our business, but it cannot yet sustain the volunteer program or what we need to move forward building our lives, our farm, or our business.
Here is where we need your help, and every little bit will help. Recently we've had some small set backs getting our small buisness off the ground, farming depends on nature and nature gave us a little kick in the behind recently. Our buisness supports our volunteer program, our family, and the farm. We would love to continue to host travelers so our knowledge about sustainable, wholesome environmental practices can be passed along to anyone who chooses to learn about them, and we can not continue the program without a little help. We also rely on our volunteers to help support the day to day workings of the farm, especially now with a baby number two on the way.
