Most Vocal Solos - World Record

Musical Intervention – Record Attempt at Most Vocal Solos in a Recording – Musical Intervention, in partnership with Make Music New Haven and the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, will host an attempt to break a record for most vocal solos in a song recording. Musical Intervention is inviting at least 500 people to have their voices recorded, proclaiming the power of music! Everyone has song in them, Musical Intervention will help you record a short and unique phrase to make your mark in history! Come for food, live music and celebration.

The current world record is 365 voices in one song. Our goal is to have one central recording studio and 4 mobile recording studios to capture people singing brief original segments about the power of music. 

We will be working with the Make Music New Haven team to put on an amazing block party to celebrate this amazing day! 



Cost of this event:

Assistance from the agency to ensure paperwork is filled out properly: $800

Cost to plan event: $3,500 
This money goes to Musical Intervention for the operating cost. 


Food for the event $400

Permits and Staging. $300
