New Wheelchair for Kendis
Donation protected
On May 23, 2017 between the hours of 7:30am and 8:20am my son’s wheelchair was stolen as we were preparing him for school. My son suffers from lack of oxygen to the brain and has been diagnosed Cerebral Palsy. My son is 4 years old and recently started going to school last year when we were finally able to get him a wheelchair that allowed him to be transported to and from school with the assistance of his chair.
It is a daily struggle to take care of a child that suffers from CP. Due to the extensive care needed to take care of my son, the demanding doctors’ appointments, and unexpected seizers I am unable retain stable and constant employment.
I am asking that if you can, please help me get my son a new wheel chair. Kendis currently weighs 32 pounds and it’s very difficult to maneuver with him without his wheelchair especially with me not have access to a vehicle. I am grateful for any assistance I receive and I thank you for your help.
