New Teacher Supply Drive

The first year of teaching is difficult for so many reasons. One of the biggest hurdles is finding the money to create your first classroom. When teachers get the keys to their room, it is exciting, but they soon realize that they will need to purchase absolutely everything on their own. This means classroom libraries, decorations, and yes, even pencils and paper. This fundraiser is for a brand new teacher starting her journey this fall. I am raising money so that she does not have to go completely broke to get ready for the school year.
I "met" Ms.  Jachymiak  when she Tweeted out her experiences as a student teacher this past year. I found her to be hopeful, caring, and very inspirational. I can already tell that she is truly meant to be a teacher!
Let's give her a great start to her career by helping her with her new classroom! Any little amount will help. Remember, teachers start with a blank canvas, let's give her the support to make this the best year ever!
