New start for homestead after lava

Abrupt ending and new beginnings
About 12 years ago my parents bought our dream property in Leilani estates. We built our dream home as a family. As I finished high school I decided on agriculture as my career. My partner Alva and I planted our dream yard, turning our acre into a permaculture food forest of our dreams. We called it Aloha 'Oe Homestead.
All of those dreamy things were lost to us when magma started erupting on the street we called home. 3 weeks into the eruption, our oasis was covered and our home was burnt and buried.

We had been intensivly planting the acre for the last 6+ years and were just starting to enjoy the fruits of our labors. Our collection included 35+ varieties of bananas, many Polynesian, all the tropical fruits you could think of and many you never heard of, some of the quite rare. We were really looking forward to being able to share those fruits with the community, and did every chance we got. The only thing better than planting and eating fruit is sharing it.

Our family consist of myself, my fiance Alva, our son and my two parents. My parents have lost everything they have ever invested in and are left with very little, and must continue to pay the mortgage until they are told otherwise.
Alva's family has welcomed us onto their property to start our homestead again. That's where you come in. Any contribution made will greatly help us to start again and succeed in the face of great adversity. We need to build onto the farm shed we are currently staying in.
We have also been displaced from work. The market we vended is closed. Most of our clients for coconut care lost their homes as well. Even my mom has lost hours at work due to the slowing economy in our town. Times are hard and look to be getting harder before it gets easier.
We humbly ask for any support and contributions to help us through this difficult time. We are so grateful for everything we have and all that the future has to offer. This set back is huge, but as soon as we are able to we will rebuild, we are already replanting as much as possible.
Mahalo nui for all the support!

We did have another fund set up by a friend, but unfortunately, due to her being in Canada there is an issue with transferring funds that is causing funds to be lost to the dollar conversion rate. So I am creating this fund to avoid any further loss in donations. Thank you for understanding.
