New Short Story Collection

Cirque Journal , where I have published essays, reviews, poems and short stories for several years, now has  Cirque Press, publishing some of the writers in the Pacific Northwest.

The update is that the book has been published, and alas, I was scheduled for many readings and appearances a week before the lockdown hysteria. 

The big Get Lit! literary event? Cancelled in Spokane.

Bookstore readings? Cancelled.
Library readings? Cancelled.

Now we have knee-jerk idiots on all side of the manure pile of politics -- "this is a fake flu . . . we must stay locked down for 18 more months . . . . we need to open up all businesses for America . . . Gates and Fauchi will save the day with mandatory  vaccine . . . the illegitimate grade-school vocabulary-challenged felon Trump is a leader of all leaders . . .  we must divide and conquer and listen to this or that authority . . . ."

So, yes, I write about the stupidity of United Snakes of America. Yes, libraries could be promoting authors even with viral distancing and vanity masks in their bloody parking lots.

Zoom Doom Rooms are yet another virus in USA -- tele-schools, tele-med, tele-sex, tele -- EVERYTHING.

Finally, we are at a cross roads in many ways, and have been for decades, but now Corona Capitalism, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the AI and Surveillance World, and the dirty rotten thing called predatory-casino-parasitic-shock capitalism is more embedded and here to kill us.
