New Marquee for our Club

As an owners club we do not charge membership fees and we do not hold money in reserve.  We try to do all of our rallies for charity and therefore raising money for additional items for the club is always difficult. Previously any items we have needed have been paid for from personal funds.

I am asking you, our club members and supporters to donate what you can to get to our target to replace our marquee which was destroyed in September 2018 due to bad weather.

Our season kicks off in May so it would be great to get this sometime in April. There is no personal benefit from this, the marquee is for club use at club events or for use at other shows/events we attend. It is entirely for the good of the club and our members.

I have been quoted for a 4.5mx3.5m marquee but 2x 3mx3m would be better because I can transport these on the bikes (with the help of the trailers) which means we can still get to shows on the bikes rather than having to take a car. The two marquees can be joined to make a larger one for the weekend shows where we need a little more space. Alternatively for the one day shows we can just take the one marquee.

If we raise more than needed then any additional funds will be donated to a charity voted for by our members once the marquee has been purchased.
