The effects of the current coronavirus throughout the world and in our city are clearly far reaching. But this we know and have our confidence: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
All of us have seen, and will continue to see, countless restaurants and local businesses forced to close their doors. Some will close temporarily while others will sadly close permanently. Fortunately, the federal government has some programs that look promising to help us weather this storm. Unfortunately, there is a lot of confusion and delays around these programs that are delaying the process for us. We need your help to bridge the gap.
As you know, we are the only full service Christian Store in NYC and Rhode Island. And though it humbles us to ask, we find ourselves in a position where we must. We are committed to standing firm for our God and King here in this city, a city that is ultimately under the reign of it’s Creator. But that said, we will need the help of our customers in order to weather this storm. We ask that those of you who can financially help will prayerfully and joyfully join us to keep this ministry shining.
Please consider donating to the New Life Relief Fund. These donations will be distributed to those on our team who have been directly impacted during this time of need, in addition to helping pay our utility bills and rent.
We understand that making a financial donation may not be possible for some of you, so in its place, we would greatly appreciate all your efforts to spread the word to you friends and family. After all, we are all friends and family and we all interdependent. For just as the body is one and has many parts, all the parts of that body, though many, are one body - so also in Christ.
