New Church Shamattawa Manitoba

$50,000 goal

St. John's Anglican Church in Shamattawa First Nation in northern Manitoba burned to the ground April 18, 2018. The furnace was not working properly and it caught fire and we could not save it.
Our community is devastated, but ready to rebuild from the ashes.
The Church is very important to our community -- everyone is baptized, married and buried there.
We need to raise money to purchase the building materials to be shipped in on the winter road next winter. Then it can be rebuilt the following summer.
We have no other sources of income at this time. Please spread the word and support our Church, for it is a centre for our community.
