New Balance Nationals Meet

Donation protected

We are four varsity track and field athletes at Homewood High school. Our names are Caroline Lawrence, Jasmine Griffin, Lainey Phelps, and Ann Mosely Whitsett. Aside from being best friends, we are also state champions in the 4x400 meter relay. This year we have been so blessed to have opportunities to compete with many fast relay teams around Alabama which has enabled us to obtain the Crossplex of Birmingham record, Homewood High School record, and the Alabama State indoor track record with a time of 3:54.26. This time has qualified us to have the opportunity to compete on the biggest stage in America at New Balance Indoor Nationals on March 10-12 at the Armory track in New York. We are ranked 7th in the nation currently, and would love the chance to go toe to line with some of the fastest teams in our country if we had the chance to go to Armory. We would also be the first ever Homewood athletes to get to compete at this national level in Indoor track. However, our school is not allowed to help support us financially on this expensive trip because it is against AHSAA rules, so we are looking to the Homewood community as well as friends and family to help us on our journey. Any kind of contribution would immensely help our team get to New York. With our goal being $5000, we are very thankful for any donation you are able to give. We understand if you are unable to contribute to our fund, but we would be overjoyed at any amount offered. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Go Patriots!!
