As many of you are aware Annette Pifer has been terribly sick for many months now. The past 6 months have been the worst. She has been in and out of emergency rooms 20+ times. unable to eat due to severe pain and nausea. Shes been admitted several times and release without any answers. Finally she was admitted to Blodgett Hospital a few weeks ago and they may have narrowed a diagnosis down. They believe she may have MALS (dunbar) syndrome. The only issue is that its an incredibly rare disease and here in Grand Rapids there isn't any specialist that can treat her. As of right now, Annette can barely function. Cleveland Clinic is her only hope to get well, and begin to live life again. She is at the point where were are afraid that she is giving up so we are taking matters in our own hands. We need our mom back. We are hoping to get her to Cleveland Clinic within the next 48 hours. We aren't certain as of the moment if she'll be airlifted or if we'll be transferring her ourselves but she is going. We realize that Christmas is so close but we ask you to please donate whatever you can. The smallest amount can help. Thank you in advance.
