NESD Celtic Faire 2017

The NESD Celtic Faire and Games is a family-friendly festival based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and is held in the Holum Expo Building at the Brown County Fairgrounds the third weekend in September. This event provides an exciting venue for all individuals who have any interest in Celtic heritage or history, arts, sports, dance, music, food and merchandise vendors, animals, and a dog parade. Everyone is welcome to attend no matter what your heritage!


This campaign is being run on behalf of the Northeastern Celtic Faire. We are a 501 (c) non-profit run soley by volunteers trying to share our Irish and Scottish culture. Our website can be seen here: NESDCELTICFAIRE.COM.
We are excited to bring you the Northeastern South Dakota Celtic Faire and Games, on the third Saturday of every September.

We were also recently featured on PBS:  The NESD Celtic Faire and Games is based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and is held in the Holum Expo Building at the Brown County Fairgrounds.   This 9th Annual event provides an exciting venue for all individuals who have any interest in Celtic heritage or history, arts, sports, dance, music, food and merchandise vendors, animals, and a dog parade.  Everyone is welcome to attend no matter what your heritage.

The money raised for this year's NESD Celtic Faire will be used for bring entertainment, awards, culture, and more. We will publically announce how the money will be used. We would like to have all funds secured by no later than June 1st, 2017. 

Our Celtic Faire is the only event of this kind in the Dakotas. 

-It helps establish Aberdeen as a destination point in the Dakotas
-Adds cultural appeal of Aberdeen for families and businesses considering relocation
-Celebrates cultural diversity within the region
-Helps to give back to the community by supporting a fun filled event for the entire family to enjoy and provides an outlet event for the Empty Mugs Program

Our Celtic Faire has been a great success over the years. We want to take it to the next level in 2017. With your donations we believe we can make this year's faire the best we have ever done! We are asking for your help!
